Anytime any person or business is collecting postage  or monetary donations, please make checks payable to US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION!   this is for both your safety and ours!     Gift certificates from Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, or local grocers, and Afees  are great items.   We use these to purchase items for troops and to assist families of troops serving.    Afees  Phone cards  are a great  item for the troops. It is great to hear a loved ones voice when your a world away from home.  These are available  at PX and BX  and are AT&T global / world wide  calling cards.   We normally ask for 200 minutes  or  550  minutes.  The cost for a 200  minute card is a mere $14.99  and gives them approx  65-75 minutes  of talk time depending on the area they are in.  Since we get these cards direct from  PX  or BX   they are charged 3/1 . Other cards  such as VFW and  Most others are charged 5/1.   WE ARE ALSO COLLECTING POSTAGE TO HELP  MAIL THESE PACKAGES. YOU MAY DONATE POSTAGE BY DONATING STAMPS  OR  A CHECK MADE  PAYABLE TO US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION.  WE SHIP MOST IN FLAT RATE BOXES THAT COST A MERE $8.95 EACH TO MAIL.      YOU CAN DONATE  BY CHECK OR CREDIT CARD ONLINE BY CLICKING ON OUR DONATION LINKS on the left off all pages of this web site.

Special events Now going and or planned !     Book your travel through  USTSTRAVEL.com  and make your vacation a donation too !  A percentage of all   travel sales will be donated to US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION!    Old Cell  Phones and  empty Ink cartridges needed ! Send your old cell phones and printer ink cartridges to us and we will send them in for recycling and get a donation for each one we send in!  If  you are not in the KC area no problem we can send you a free shipping label to send them in !  For more information on this please contact Linda at 816-224-4729.         We are constantly begging donations of money and stamps for postage!  We send  A LOT of care packages out  on a constant basis and we are always in need of help with  postage!  This  does not need to be cash  it can be stamps.  All donations are tax deductible! All  proceeds  from those items  help US TROOP SUPPORT continue the support for combat troops and their families.  While your there, give Debbie a hug  for her and her son. Her son is currently  serving  in Iraq.   Sept 23 th, 2007   We will be holding a volunteers  meeting  at GOD FATHERS PIZZA  in Blue Springs, MO   at 5 pm.   Anyone interested in Volunteering with us is welcome to attend.   Oct 5 & 6 , 2007 We will be at Oak Grove Mo walmart collecting items for troops  care packages.   Oct 6 th, 2007   We will  be at HyVee in Blue Springs, Mo  with boxes prepacked and ready to mail to our hero's in combat.   Most of these are flat rate boxes and cost a mere $8.95 each to mail. We ask folks to come in grab a box and  take it to customer service and mail it.  US TROOP SUPPORT will give you a free  gift for doing this.      Oct 12 & 13   We will be  at the Warrensburg  Fall  Home  &   Gift show     Fri from 5 pm - 9pm  & Sat 10 am - 5 pm. We will have a booth  with a variety of items  you can purchase to support the troops  as well as  fun things for your kids to do !   Oct 19 & 20   We will be  at the Harrisonville  Fall  Home  &   Gift show     Fri from 5 pm - 9pm  & Sat 10 am - 5 pm. We will have a booth  with a variety of items  you can purchase to support the troops  as well as  fun things for your  kids to do !   Nov 1st, 2007 Start watching for  Christmas Trees  for Troops! We will be placing  Christmas Trees  up  in the following  places. The trees will have ornaments on them  with troops  and troops families names and wish lists for Christmas.  You can grab and ornament and go shopping  to make a dream come true  for a Hero  serving so far from home.  You simply purchase  gifts and bring them back to any one of the places on this list, and we will pick them up and get them to  the troops and families. We ask all gifts be NEW in original packages.   Locations to find trees for Troops: HyVee  located on Ward Rd  in Lee's Summit , MO Star Bucks in Lee's Summit, Mo Star Bucks  in Independence, MO Star Bucks in Liberty, Mo Star Bucks in Blue Springs, Mo Star Bucks in KCN, Mo Blue Springs Animal Hospital, Blue Springs, Mo    If you would like to know more information about this program please contact Linda  at 816-224-4729.    US FLAGS NEEDED !!!!   We have been asked for US FLAGS  that units can fly and then send back to loved ones to remember  tours.  We are collecting US FLAGS  for these units.  We ask that the flags be new and  large like the kind  you would fly  on your home. We will place them in care packages and mail them to the different units.    We are also selling pocket flags for heroes. These are $5 each and  you can write a note  to send with them  to one of our fighting men or women.  or you may purchase one for yourself or a loved one to remember  America's Freedom and those who give their lives for it !     Note: Volunteers DO NOT GET PAID! More then 90% of all donations go to the cause!  NO ONE is on a weekly or monthly payroll!  We believe Volunteers do things for our troops because they care for our troops and our country ! Not for  a paycheck. No volunteer gets paid !    In 2006   we kept more then 99% of all donations  going to the cause!  less the 1%  was used for admin and fund raising.   YEAH !   When you donate to a charity don't just ask how much goes to the cause.  Check  it out for your self ! Ask for an IRS 990.  Ask for proof !    Comments   From Linda, cofounder US Troop Support:  Please donate either  money or stamps for postage so we can provide a morale boost to our Heroes serving so far from home.   A reminder to those who have never served:   Our military Men and Women  give 24 hours a day to protect us from evils of the world. They  are willing to risk their lives  for our freedom. We get many  folks telling us  that they will only support  troops from their area, meaning local  city or  community. Isn't America  our 'AREA"? 9-11   could have been anyplace. Didn't 9-11 effect our entire country?   Please  step outside the box and look at this. It does not  matter  where this Marine,  Soldier, Sailor,  Airman,  Reservist, National Guard, Coast Guard person grew up at.  He or She  is  fighting for all of America.    Lets support our Troops !   It's  up to them to defend us.
