The following emails have been recieved from troops we have supported. Some info in some has been removed for privacy .
We get many many emails,  unfortunately we do not have time to change them into pics to  place them all on the  our web site. We have started this page in hopes to get more on here by a simple copy and paste.

Miss Linda, I received 5 Boxes from you guys today... 4 of them with the Jerky, Hand sanitizer and assorted other goodies, and one large box with a fricken Coke Cooler!!!  I can't tell you how many guys have commented on that!!!  It's amazing!  It's so cool that I wanted to keep it for myself and my guys in the Hooch, or the truck I'm using, but I didn't see that as a fair way to do it... So I have this Cornhole tournament that I'm starting up on Monday and the winning team of that competition gets rights to the Gigantic Coke Bottle...  Since I'm putting it on I won't be in it so I have no chance of winning it, but I am testing it out while I'm waiting to see who gets it.  That really inspired a lot of teams to join in and it sounds like it'll be quite a battle to see what truck gets the prize!!!!  Thank you guys so much, it was an amazing boost to my Marine's Morale!!!

Can't thank you guys enough for what you've done!

FYI   I had to ask what a corn hole tournament was   and here is the reply

Look up Cornhole on Wikipedia... But it's a game where you have two 4'X2' borads with 6 in holes at the far ends, the center of which is 9 in from the top of each board.  The Boards are about 12 in higher in the back then they are the fron to give them a slant... They are set about 33 ft apart from inner edge of hole to hole.  Now, each player has four "Corn" filled bags(usually a good shell corn) and they stand beside one of the boards and throw towards the other alternately.  The bags are usually about 5 1/2 to 6 in squares...

The object is to get as many bags in the hole or on the board as possible.  In the Hole(a Cornhole) is 3 points, on the board is 1 and anything else is Zero.  You can knock an opponents bag off for no score to them, and if a bag hits the ground before the board it's a no-go.  The scores cance each other out at the end of the eight bags being thrown, and the players play to 21 or greater with vairiations.  You can have two players or teams of two.

The Game was invented in Kentucky(People from Ohio say it was invented there)  but us KY folk like to claim the game.  I built two board sets a while after we first got here and it has been all the rage!

We'll be here fo another month or so and then moving on I think... not sure.  Again, I appreciate all you've done for us Miss Linda!

David

Just wanted to take one last opportunity to say thank you for all you've
done for us over this past year on this deployment.  We appreciate all
your prayers and support to our families during this time of separation.
Half of our group has now departed our location here, and the other half
is close behind.  Everyone is real excited about seeing family and
friends once again.

Thanks again,

Note:   As  of June 23rd  President Obama  signed a bill no longer allowing a company to donate any tobacco. So unless it is a donation by a person, we will no  longer have it to send. Although we get many many requests for it !

Miss Linda,

Is your son heading to Iraq?  I know that most people that
were scheduled to head over here are being forwarded to
Afghanistan.  As of right now, we are all part of a Massive
retrograde effort to get most of the Marines out of Iraq by
the end of this year.  What is Sgt. Perry's MOS, and where do you reckon he'll be stationed?

Oh, and I forgot one thing ma'am... I recieved a package of
that Militec Lubricant.  I had never heard of it before so I
didn't know if it was authorized or not.  I checked with the
armorers and they told me that it was some of the best stuff
you can put on a rifle and that "Hell Yes"  it's authorized.
Unfortunately, when they found out the word spread and the
whole base here at Camp Korean Village got a hold of that stuff.
I was glad to pass it out to everyone, we all used it during our
BZO's and EMP ranges.  It's amazing stuff!  The guys were
wondering if we could get a) a few more bottles of that stuff,
and b) a bunch more of the stickers and possibly som t-shirts?
We are all in 100% support of that stuff for sure!
Thank you Miss Linda, and have an Outstanding day!

________________________
Thank you for the great boxes that you sent put to my platoon.
Everyone was so excited when the stuff arrived :-)  we got it all
passed out and distributed.  You guys are so wonderful, and
I want you  to know how much we appreciate you being there for us.

God bless you and God bless America

-----------------------------------------
Miss Linda,

My Name is Sgt. David Urekew, USMC, and I have received
a few boxes from you guys so far, and let me tell you, it
has been a true uplift out here in this place to know that
random people back home care about folks like us doing
our duty out here.  I fully expected to receive some things
from close friends and family, however, you guys have
superceded all my expectations with your generosity!

I hate to be the kind of guy that is picky about a gift received, but the stuff you send me has been distributed amongst my junior Marines and they are asking if I have any control over what is getting sent.  I told them of your letter and that I would write you with a few requests...

I received a box of Grizzly Wintergreen a few weeks back.  I don't dip personally, however many of my Marines do and they have benefitted from that gift.  A request they have made is for Grizzly Mint instead of the wintergreen, and then ofcourse anything Copenhagan is always appreciated.

The general consensus among the Marines is that Beef Jerky
is probably one of the most usable gifts out here.  We go
outside the wire on on quite a few missions and sometimes
miss the chow hall hours because of it.  A great snack to
tide us over is the Jerky.

As for other things, those little packets of Crystal-Lite
looking drink flavorers are always good... That way I can
ensure my Marines are drinking water rather then some of
the other stuff that's available to them.

We do not need any more Baby wipes as far as I know,
but hand sanitizer is always a plus.  Oh, and believe it or
not, the Marines are generally tired of candy as well!  But
any kind of food that would keep us from eating MRE's
would be awesome.  Things Like Power Bars,
Nutrigrain Bars, and other types of packaged snacks
 would be much enjoyed.

Miss Linda, I can't tell you how thankful we all are
for your organizations caring and hospitality.  It means
the world to all of us!  As for when we ar leaving, we are
scheduled to leave late November, but if anything changes
with that, I will let you know immediately!

Mrs. Relitz,

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care
packages of smokeless tobacco. It is hard to get at the small camp we
are at and a lot of us prefer the brands you sent. I personally have
been using grizzly products since they came out.  It was very much
appreciated. All the Soldiers were excited to include myself and just so
happened the packages arrived on my birthday and could not have received
a better gift. I appreciate the service you do for the military. People
like yourself make the days easier and more durable especially knowing
we have support from people like yourself. Once again Thank You from the
bottom of my heart.

Thank You

Ms Linda,
We know  tobacco is not good for us, but a lot of the guys in my unit really would like some. We have  about 150
guys in our unit  that  use Grizzly Straight and Skoal Straight, and a few that smoke Marlboro. Is there any chance  maybe you could send us some for Christmas?
We just got the star bucks VIA  and you are awesome !
Thanks for supporting us !
