Adopt a troop (1 person serving in combat )
Adopt a Troop was so popular during
the holidays, folks have asked us about
continuing it throughout the year.
We think this is a great idea, however we still
cannot give out names and addresses of our troops.
USTSF will supply the name and wish list
for a troop. ( a troop is one service member) and
if you would like to adopt a troop, we will
be the go between. Please contact Linda at
816-224-4729 on how this works.
We mail to the troops 365 days a year
when we have items and postage available!!!!!
We will be updating this page as we get more
events scheduled. Please check it every
couple weeks!

Event: The 2010 tournament format will be a 4 person
(male and / or female)
scramble made up of WCC Members and their guests,
in addition to a token
number of Veterans and Corporate Sponsor representatives.
It will start about 8:30a on The Woodlands CC
Gary Player signature course and be limited to
128 total participants (32 foursomes).
any hole of the 18 on a first come first choice basis.
Par 3 Holes: #5 – 183yd.;
#8 – 200 yd.; #11 – 134yd.; and #14 – 144yd. lend themselves to
“Hole in One” prizes and an opportunity for the
Sponsor to display a banner behind the green.
Other holes can have Donor banners displayed at the tee box.

We have so many troops on our list
that it takes a lot of hours
to gather and pack the boxes.
We try extra hard during the Holiday Season
to make sure each one on our list
gets a box from "home".
This is also the time to adopt a troop!!!!
A "troop" is one service member.

Adopt a Platoon.
The cost of this is $500 .
USTSF will send Holiday Decorations
and a stockings filled for each service member
in a platoon. You will receive a plaque indicating
what unit and platoon you sponsored.

There are many Military families that struggle
while loved ones are deployed.
Place a wreath on a lost Hero's grave
during the Holidays.
This is the first year, USTSF will participate
in this venture.We are honored to do this.
You can donate for this at any time of the year.
The money will be put aside for this purpose
and wreaths will
be ordered all at one time. Please note
"for Veteran Wreath"
on your donation.
