AT&T GLOBAL phone cards are used in combat areas. These are slowly being eliminated since more and more areas are getting free satellite phones. However troops can always use them when they are in transit to and from Theater.
The phone cards must be AT&T GLOBAL or AT&T Ship to Shore. NO OTHER PHONE CARDS WILL WORK IN COMBAT AREAS OR MILITARY OVERSEAS AREAS. WORLD WIDE AND INTERNATIONAL CALLING CARDS ONLY WORK IF THE CALL IS INITIATED INSIDE THE USA.
As of Jan 2012 postage on a large flat rate box going to an FPO or APO is increased to $13.45.

US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION (USTSF)

US Troop Support Foundation (USTSF) is a grass roots 501 (c) (3) organization that sends care packages to our combat troops and assists families of those serving in combat. We are NON political!
USTSF (Texas & Missouri Chapters) has sent more than 580,000 care packages to combat troops from all branches of the service. We have assisted more than 1,300 families with a variety of needs. We are all volunteers who work out of our homes. Using this approach we are able to use more than 99% of all donations (goods & cash) for benefit of our troops. The most recent tax return (Form 990) of USTSF can be found on the website referenced above. We mail boxes to individual troops. We get troop names by direct referral from families & friends in the local community, troops serving in combat, as well as unit Commanders we have supported in the past. We maintain all names and addresses CONFIDENTIAL. USTSF depends on donations from patriotic generous people and organizations such as you.
We are currently in need of support for a golf fundraiser being planned for Saturday, May 26, 2012 at The Woodlands Country Club – Palmer Course in Texas. 230 players / volunteers can be accommodated in this event. Sponsor Opportunities:
