US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION

Thanks  to all donors  of  2003  -  Present. You have all  made a World of Difference! 


As most folks know  2008 was a very difficult year 
and  2009 was still a difficult year.  Economics and politics  made things very difficult for foundations that do work
such as we do. Along with that , economics effected many military families as well.  With the kindness, generousity
and help of many groups, businesses and other more fortunate families, we were able to assist 171 families for Christmas 2008 and 112 families for Christmas 2009. We also were able to send out more than 13,800 care
 packages to troops in combat during the Christmas
season  alone in 2009 . We want to thank those that donated to help with this project. It meant so much to
 those families, and our troops. 
We also want to thank all of the "elves"  that kicked in
 and  helped deliver gifts and made baked goods for families . You all are the greatest !

We want to send  a BIG Thanks  to the young men and women  from Shawnee Mission ROTC. They  worked  fund raisers  for usts in the COLD and colected items and postage.









Thanks  to County Beverage in Lee's Summit , MO   for the generous donations of Energy Drinks for troops  care packages !
Energy Drinks is one of the most requested items for troops in combat.



We want to send a very special thanks  to 
the following  that went more then beyond
the call  in helping us support the troops !

Brian and Elyse Smith  spearheaded a collection  for Christmas for Combat at the KC  IRS. They did an outstanding job !   The IRS  employees  embraced   the idea and went beyond the call  on collecting and donating  for our troops !!   
Thank  you to all of them that participated !







KC  IRS  employees  collected items  for
 more than 500 care packages. They managed an
 enormous collection of much needed and wanted items.
  They also assisted with postage for many of the care packages they collected items for.
Some of the IRS  Gov  employees  also adopted families
of troops.  This gave many  troops and families a happy holiday to remember.  They are an awesome group !!!

HyVee in Lee's Summit off Ward RD  allowed extra fund raisers so we could hold more  Adopt a Box events  to get more care packages out. The employees  at that store worked very hard and assisted us in so many ways.  They are an awesome group.

HyVee in Blue Springs went beyond the call  in allowing us  Adopt a Box events. The customer service  employees  stayed longer hours to help get boxes out.
They are a wonderful group.  This store also donated
10 Turkeys  for FRG  holiday dinners.


Price Choppers   also get a big Thank You 
for donations of turkeys for  FRG dinners.


Thanks  to the   KC, KS  and   KC, MO   Star Bucks  districts for  running   Coffee  for Combat   during the holidays and
to all the generous patrons that donated coffee to send to the troops in combat !




Thanks  to all who adopted a platoon for the holidays!


So many folks have made such a  great impact.
