In winter   add Long Johns to this  list !

We have had A LOT of requests
for 12 volt coolers.
The are expensive items,
but are like gold  to the troops. They can actually have cold water  to drink  with these.
These are available
at local Walmarts  starting at about $60 and they cost between $40 - $80 to mail depending on size.
Target also carries these.

Some of these have the ability to keep things warm or cold. Those are best but all are appreciated!

We have a lot of requests   from units in Afghanistan   needing  6 or 7  or 1 watt  LED   headlamps  with night vision.  These area available at Walmart  for $14.88 - $19.88
and at Home Depot  for $17.97.

Many units in Afghanistan are also begging for Tactical Mission Arm bands  available on line  through
BDS  at  http://www.bdstacticalgear.com/pd-bds-tactical-mission-arm-band.cfm      cost is $20  each

At&t  Global Phone Cards  ( Please note International & World Wide  phone cards do not  work in combat areas for our troops. World Wide and International phone cards  are made to call from the USA  out to other countries, not  from other countries  into the USA.  Please  purchase  either   AT &T GLOBAL   or   Ship to Shore  cards.   Global Phone cards bought at Walmarts and other civilian store locations  do NOT  work!!!!

PLEASE  order AT&T Global or Ship to Shore  phone cards  on line  at  the folloowing link.
https://thor.aafes.com/scs/default.aspx   have them shipped to you or  us.  Or we will be happy to purchase them for you at  the Exchange.

Repeat :

Phone cards must be  AT & T Global or Ship to Shore cards !!!!  Please do NOT  purchase  cards from places other than AAFES online  or   a PX or BX.
International  & World Wide cards  DO NOT work   They Must be  AT&T GLOBAL  or   SHIP to SHORE.

Tobacco  ..  Cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco , Skoal, Grizzly, Copenhagean, Kodiak. Tobacco is a highly requested item and very difficult for them to purchase
in theater. USTSF   does not promote tobacco, however we will send it to the troops requesting it.  We have
had reports   on troops  so desperate they purchased it on the economy
and it was laced with Heroin and  cyanide.   We would rather provide this for them , then see them do this and take the risk of coma  or death.

Note: We send Ramen  noodles, however we get  a lot of it donated and it costs more to ship then it is worth.

Bagged   potato chips   do not ship well.  Cans only please!!!!!

Anything  that has a short shelf life is not good to send.
