US TROOP SUPPORT has been working with a local radio station (94.1 KFKF ) for the past few years. We will no longer be affiliated with KFKF for the following reason. We were offered a radiothon by 106.5 the Wolf. We discussed other radio stations helping us with Dale Carter, program director of KFKF. He stated he had no problem with it. In fact the thought between us was ,we are all Americans and we are all in this together! On Memorial day weekend we kicked off on Friday with a radiothon with 106.5 the Wolf. Dale Carter contacted Linda and stated if we went on with the plan with 106.5 the Wolf, KFKF would no longer help US TROOP SUPPORT, because 106.5 the Wolf is their competitor.
Linda told Dale it was too late to cancel and USTS needed the help to get care packages to our troops. There should be no competition in supporting our troops! KFKF could not / would not promise US Troop Support anything. Stating they would discuss it later in the year. The fact "later in the year " still held no promises, Linda sent Dale an email on July 15th and here is the details of that email and responses!
So Dale warned Linda , as you can see below in the emails , Competition is more important to KFKF than our troops are!
US TROOP SUPPORT will be working with 106.5 The Wolf ! We are thrilled they are showing REAL PATRIOTISIM and support for the troops!
We hope you all will tune in to 106.5 The Wolf and listen to what the troops have to say and listen to the great country music they offer !

US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION
is a non profit NON POLITICAL Grass Roots 501 (c) (3) foundation started in Jan 2003 by the Parents of a young Marine deploying . Initially a small group of friends and family then to a foundation parented by NHF then in to 2006, to a Foundation of it's own.
Starting with 187 US MARINES in 2003 to now in 2008, supporting over 7,000 combat troops from all branches. US Troop Support Foundation continues to grow.
US Troop Support Foundation has supported more than 135,000 troops since it began almost 6 years ago. Sending care packages, letters, phone cards and emails.
US Troop Support Foundation not only assists combat troops, but also assists families of combat troops when funds are available.
Family assistance is done more as a "go between". After verification of a problem, we
try our best to help find a solution and the right people to help fix it. If it is for financial
assistance, we provide what ever is possible
in the way of direct pay to the debt. We do not
give cash financial assistance.
US Troop Support Foundation is made up of all volunteers!
NO ONE GETS PAID!
We keep more than 99% going
to the cause!
It is impossible to keep 100% going to the cause. We must pay Secretary of State fees . We also spend a very small amount on
booth fees for fund raisers to benefit our troops, and a very minimal amount on office and management.
