US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION
is a non profit NON POLITICAL Grass Roots 501 (c) (3) foundation started in Jan 2003 by the Parents of a young Marine deploying . Initially a small group of friends and family then to a foundation parented by NHF then in to 2006, to a Foundation of it's own.
Starting with 187 US MARINES in 2003 to now in 2009, supporting almost 8,000 combat troops from all branches. US Troop Support Foundation continues to grow. This number changes often with deployments in and out.
US Troop Support Foundation has supported more than 175,000 troops since it began in 2003. Sending care packages, letters, phone cards and emails.
US Troop Support Foundation not only assists combat troops, but also assists families of combat troops in emergency situations when funds are available.
try our best to help find a solution and the right people to help fix it. If it is for financial
assistance, we provide what ever is possible
in the way of direct pay to the debt. We do not
give cash financial assistance to families.
We do not have grants available for education assistance.
We do not have funds for luxury items such as swimming pools in troops private yards.
We will forward appropriate letters and cards of support from Churches , schools and general public. We DO NOT allow anyone to use USTS as a dating service or "HOOK UP" for our troops. We will not forward anything that may be used in any way to seduce or alarm our troops or their families!
Please understand families and troops have enough stress to endure. They do not need any added to it.
US Troop Support Foundation is made up of all volunteers! Most of our volunteers are parents & grandparents of troops & former military. We do accept other volunteers. We want all caring folks that really want to help to be volunteers. We do not give all volunteers troops info. Troops info is kept private and secured within hands of founders and a few KEY volunteers.
NO ONE GETS PAID!
We are all volunteers !!!!!!!
We keep more than 99% going
to the cause!
It is impossible to keep 100% going to the
cause. We must pay Secretary of State fees . We also spend a very small amount on booth fees and other fees for fund raisers to benefit our troops, and a very minimal amount on office expense.

In 2008 we still kept over 99% going to the cause!

We use mostly Large flat rate boxes
to mail to our troops. These costs
$11.95 each.to mail.
Some items do not fit in flat
rate boxes. In these cases
we are forced to pay per pound
and size. Postage gets very
expensive.
We know there are alot of scams
out in the world and we galdly
accept stamps to help mail instead of cash. We also hold adopt a box fund raiser's. Please see our up coming

America Supports You was under investigation and found to have misaprropriated more than 9 million dollars in funds. WE DO NOT WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH ANYONE that would do that to our Troops! Please copy and paste the following link and read the news article on this.
We tried for 6 months to contact someone, anyone , at ASY to see what was going on and could get no contact. More than 6 months later they reorganized and contacted us. This is not satisfactory ! WE CHOSE TO DROP OFF THEIR LIST !
